A "cut-away" stabilizer is a non-woven, permanent stabilizer that must be cut away to be removed. Cut-aways should never tear because, if they do, they are not giving you the needed stability for which you are using them. Soft 'n Sheer is an unusually fabricated non-woven similar to the lining found in disposable diapers. This texturized stabilizer is very sheer and supple, yet almost impossible to tear, making it ideal for knits worn next to the skin. Cut-Away Plus is a mid-weight non-woven which is deal for outerwear like sweaters, sweatshirts and jackets.
