Featured Artist: Eve Agee
Eve is an award winning designer, author and teacher and has been teaching free motion machine embroidery and thread painting since 1977.
Eve a native of Hickory, North Carolina lived in Melbourne, Fl for 22 years.
She was a Fashion merchandising instructor at Brevard Community College
and taught adult education when time allowed. Thread painting and machine
embroidery were started in 1977 and offered on a constant basis.
Eve has also written articles for magazines and operational manuals for machines
and teacher training. She has received many awards for her beautiful work
in thread painting and pictorial / art quilts.
Now living in North Carolina, Eve is currently an instructor at
Catawba Valley Community College in Hickory, NC. She also presents lectures,
programs and workshops for guilds, seminars, etc.
She enjoys sharing ideas, techniques and exploring creative avenues with her students.
